Turner's Bill reads: 'That leave be given to bring in a Bill to increase the maximum sentence for a conviction of dangerous driving from two years to seven years; and for connected purposes.'
Ex patrol officer and founder of the group Keith Peat says: 'Reckless under the RTA1988 sec2 always was subjective and relying on the viewpoint of totally inexpert and hostile witnesses but at least a subsequent accident indicated that the driver got something wrong.
